Compete at the “Summer Drive-In”: 31 Movies in 31 Words
Find out all about the #31in31 competition.

In honor of Crackle’s Summer Drive-In, where we are bringing you 31 free movies in 31 days, I have created a little competition called “31 Movies in 31 Words.” It's a movie competition that will test not only your “cinematic” mind, but your linguistic skills as well. So, can you:

DESCRIBE YOUR FAVORITE MOVIE AND WHY… WITHIN 31 WORDS?

I want to know not only who knows the most about their favorite movies, but who can tell me about it quickly. Think you have the ultimate answer for why “Tiptoes” is the best movie ever made (many here could tell you why in a heartbeat), well then prove it! Publish your entry anywhere; just make sure you preface it with “#31in31” so I can find it on the web. You can make as many entries as you want, just keep each entry within 31 words.

Here is an example:

“#31in31: Ghostbusters: The theme song was so good it not only sparked the phrases “Who you gonna’ call?” and “I ain’t afraid of no ghosts,” it earned Ray Parker Jr. an Oscar nomination!”

While this example contains exactly 31 words, your entry does NOT have to; just make sure you keep it under 31 and you will be fine. Wherever you post your submission I will find it and submit it to our “Polls” page on our Facebook Fan Page for all to vote on. If I happen to miss yours, send me a message wherever Crackle is and I’ll be sure it’s included. Votable submissions will post at 6pm PST every day on the fan page voting section. Make sure you’re connected to Crackle through our various social profiles so you don’t miss any updates. Want to see if you friends can do any better? You can challenge them to create their own #31in31 by tagging them on this Facebook photo here…they will be notified they have been tagged, and the game begins!

The top 5 submissions for the week (determined by number of votes) will compete on Friday for an in-depth interview on the Crackle blog. You will be notified on Friday if you are a finalist, giving you the weekend to rally your votes. Voting closes on Sunday at 6pm. We will have one winner per week, with four total for the month of August.

So sit back, relax, enjoy some great movies, get your friends involved, and tell me why you love your favorite films… but don’t go over 31 words!

Here's mine: Dumped? Training time. What kind of training? Army Training Sir! You’ll become a lean mean fighting machine! Add mud wrestling, the Aunt Jemima treatment, and you’ll be sure to earn these.
