In an effort to make this blog simpler and more streamlined, I've decided to make today's list of DVDs very simple: Zombieland. That's right, the zombie shoot-em-up comedy is available on DVD today! Buy it! Rent it! DO THE ZOMBIE! Sure Zombieland is brought to you by the same people who bring you Crackle, but I also happen to like it. And now you can watch it in the comfort of your very own zombie fortress. If for some reason you'd like to watch something else, with thanks as always to Iddo the intern, here's the lowdown.

Love Happens (click for Amazon purchase)
The death of his wife turns a guy into a self help guru who's just lookin' fer' love. Starring: Aaron EckhartJennifer AnistonMartin SheenJudy Greer. The Crackle Alternative: For any Romantic comedy, I always recomend Tiptoes (it has Gary Oldman on his knees!). Yet, since Jennifer Aniston is in this, I should probably suggest the rarely seen sitcom she did before friends, Muddling Through, available in Minisode Form, right here.

Amelia (click for Amazon purchase)
The life and times of the legendary lady pilot. Starring: Hilary SwankRichard GereEwan McGregor. The Crackle Alternative: Need a strong independent female role model? I say, go for She-ra.

Black Dynamite (click for Amazon purchase)
They're "taking back" blaxploitation flicks with this cracker-kicking comedy. Starring: Michael Jai WhiteArsenio HallTommy Davidson. The Crackle Alternative: I think to really appreciate it you should check out Starsky and Hutch to get some idea of where all these classic cliche's come from.

While the above is only a partial list, one of many places to check for more information is Cinemablend.com. And if any of the above titles really gets you stoked, (or even if you just love zombie clowns), make sure to leave a comment below.
