Movie Description:
Desperate to shed his straight arrow image, a sober college student (Kerwin Matthews) devises an elaborate prank to hold up a large Reno casino. For this experiment in psychology, he enlists classmates Brick (Brian Keith) and Roy. Unaware of their plans, Al Mercer (Guy Madison) and his girlfriend, Kay Greylek (Kim Novak) also agree to join them for the ride. But a hitch arises when, as a result of psychological damage suffered in the Korean War, Brick is intent on carrying out the heist. And once he learns of Brick's plan, Al tries to insure that no one gets hurt by following through with the robbery before trying to stop his wartime friend.
