Movie Description:
Oscar® winner Frank Sinatra stars as Joey Evans, a talented and egotistical nightclub singer with a penchant for breaking hearts. Arriving penniless in San Francisco to reinvent himself once more, Joey is singing at a party where he recognizes his socialite host, Vera Simpson (Rita Hayworth), as a stripper he once knew. Falling for the handsome singer, Vera sets him up with his own nightclub, only to watch him pursue Linda English (Kim Novak), a chorus girl with the ability to make Joey abandon his roguish ways. Learning of the romance, Vera threatens to shut down the new club before it can get started. But when faced with marrying for money or for love, Joey chooses to follow his heart.
