- Writers Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg started this script when they were just 13 years old. According to Rogen: "we just wanted to see if we could write a movie."
- The word "fuck" is used 186 times in the movie, which averages out to more than one and half uses per minute. 84 are said by Seth (Jonah Hill).
- Water was used for vodka, apple juice for hard liquor, and non-alcoholic beer was used for the party scenes.
