The Groundlings bring their signature humor to the web with their self-titled series, The Groundlings. The comedy troupe, which has performed in Los Angeles for over 30 years, has launched the careers of such comic geniuses from film and television as Jennifer Coolidge, Will Ferrell, Kathy Griffin, Phil Hartman, Cheryl Hines, Chris Kattan, Lisa Kudrow, Jon Lovitz, and Laraine Newman as well as such Saturday Night Live performers as Will Forte, Ana Gasteyer, Chris Parnell, Maya Rudolph and Kristen Wiig. Such memorable characters as Paul Reubens’ Pee Wee Herman and Julia Sweeney’s androgynous Pat were originated at The Groundlings. Members and alumni also hold writing positions on many of Hollywood’s top television and film projects.
