Garry Shandling is Larry Sanders, the host of a late-night talk show on which the winning public personas of its cast mask some petty and insecure private lives. Aided by a veteran producer (Rip Torn) and a bumbling sidekick (Jeffrey Tambor), Larry proves that what goes on in front of the camera isn’t as hilarious as the action behind it.
